The Peacock Exchange Client Guidelines

 

I sell closet cleanouts and boutique overstocks for clients.

 

I list and sell items as quickly as possible and pay out to clients every month.  I take 45% the profits and send the rest back to the client monthly.

 

Example of Payout Pattern: Items that sold in January were paid out to clients by Feb 15th.  Items sold in February, were paid out by March 15th.

 

I will sell a client’s items until they are all gone by discounting the items over time.  If some items don’t sell after a reasonable amount of time, I will either donate those items or return them to the client if they choose.

 

Items dropped off must be clean and dry.  I prefer the items to be laid flat or folded.  I will not accept any items with visible pet hair or any smells.  This includes, but is not limited to smoke, pet smells, stale smell from being in storage, or mold/mildew.  Items with major staining or visible holes will not be accepted.  I use a rule of thumb that if I would not put it on my child, I will not sell or donate it. Minor spots or pinholes are considered play condition to me and still will usually sell, however, I discard any items that are not worthy of play condition.

 

Items dropped off must be inside a closed bag, box, or tote with clients first and last name on each container and lid.

 

I am only currently accepting kids clothing and shoes.  I do sell a small selection of some men’s and women’s items, but I do not currently have the shelf space to expand those collections
